Drive From Newcastle

Koala Shores is just north of Newcastle. Drive north up Nelson Bay Road, turning up Lemon Tree Passage Road before arriving at Oyster Farm Road. This drive takes approximately 45 minutes.

Drive From Sydney

The drive north from Sydney to Koala Shores will take you approximately two and a half hours via the M1.

Koala House

Koala House is unlike any other holiday park home. Situated at the front of Koala Shores, this big and breezy modern residence has more than a hint of the classic Hamptons-style holiday home.Big enough to accommodate 2 to 3 families or 12 guests in total, this luxury house has every possible comfort.


Within the park’s accommodation area, charming individual cabins, spa villas and waterfront suites sit serenely amongst the trees, offering plenty of room and allowing guests to cater for themselves.Our cabins can accommodate from 4 to 7 adults, and range from Deluxe Bushland Spa Suites through to Budget Water View Cabins.


Powered Sites

Some of our powered caravan sites have a concrete slab for an annexe and concrete runways for the wheels of your caravan, as well as access to water and sullage drainage. Other sites are grassed and suitable for tent camping.


Ensuite Sites

Our Ensuite Sites are very popular with visitors looking for extra privacy and convenience. Four of these sites are suitable for vans or motorhomes only. Tilligerry Habitat State Reserve

Discover unusual flora and fauna in this 9-hectare reserve located on the sandy foreshore of Tanilba Bay. Best of all, entry is free! Get your map at the straw bale Environment Centre and take the smooth walking tracks and boardwalks as marked. See native birds and find bush tucker plants in season. Guided tours are available (for a fee) for you to learn more about our local history and culture.

Fishermans Bay foreshore

Fishermans Bay Foreshore is close to Anna Bay and only a short-drive from Lemon Tree Passage on the stunning NSW North Coast. Take your family and friends for a picnic and a swim at the secluded beach, wade through the rockpools, go snorkelling or take your binoculars (May to October) for a spot of whale watching. If you have a boat or kayak, you can launch from the small boat ramp.

Anna Bay

Anna Bay is a quaint village located on the edge of Birubi Beach – the most extensive coastal sand mass in New South Wales. Go quad-biking, sand-boarding or be adventurous and ride a camel. You can also have the full Aussie experience and learn to surf at Anna Bay’s gnarly surf school.
